This is the newer version of the SG1250 which now has a trigger switch operated from the grip for a safer and more ergonomic experience. It takes two 125mm diameter cutting wheels which allow a range of different tracking depths and widths. To allow optimal cutting performance the wall chaser has constant speed control that allows it to adjust based on the load to the motor. As with many of Makita’s other angle grinder based machines, this has the SJS system which reduces machine vibration especially during start up, and also prevents burning out the motor during binding.
