The aim of the puzzle is to first detach the two keys and then to reattach them. Franklin was the first to demonstrate that lightning comprises of electrical charges. In 1752 Franklin supposedly ventured into a storm to fly a kite. He was holding a silk ribbon with a kite at one end and an iron key at the other. Lightning struck the kite and a charge travelled down the silk ribbon to the metal key. Franklin touched the key and was “zapped”, thus proving the leectrical nature of lightning!
